Panna Cotta – Grandma’s Recipe

Panna Cotta - Grandma's Recipe

I used my grandma’s recipe to make individual pots of Panna Cotta dessert. The following recipe is for 8-10 servings (depending on size of pots).

1L double cream
200g sugar
400g Greek yoghurt
1 leaf gelatine

Heat the double cream and the sugar in a pan until boiled
Move away from heat and gradually add in the yoghurt
Meanwhile dissolve the gelatine in 100g of water (read the gelatine pack for indication of temperature of water)
Place the pan back on the heat
Add in the gelatine and stir until boiled
Pour into pots
Wait 15 minutes and place in the fridge to set

Once the Panna Cotta has set, top with strawberry jam
Add on a strawberry and mint leaves
